Making a little succulent cactus garden is a lot easier than you think… just press play and see for yourself.

The most important thing to remember when planting succulents is to use proper soil.  Cactus soil is a specially blended mixture that drains far more than regular potting soil for.  Start with rock/gravel at the base of the pot you use to ensure the water isn’t sitting in the soil.  Spread some charcoal after the base… charcoal is used to keep the soil fresh.  Soil next, and place your succulents.  Make sure to secure your succulents with more soil, and top it with some gravel or pebbles!
