Summer is here… and I’m officially dying of heat, but really… it’s SUMMER!! yay!  This just means I get to squeeze extra time with my littles for more adventures.  I recently discovered a hike out in Snow Canyon State Park called White Rock Trail, I’ve taken my kiddos a few times already and I recommend it to everyone.

4th of July in St George


100 foot Slip-n-Slide… Yes, you read that right. 100 feet! Needless to say, we are all excited about this addition to this Independence Day too. Each year, our city of St George hosts a fun-filled day full of music, delicious food stands, bounce houses, cotton candy, races & contests followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Evening Ride

As summer starts approaching, the days get warmer and the evenings become a perfect time for little outings…especially in the summer where the days get really hot, but the nights are great way to end the day.  The sun sets late and you can beat the heat a little by enjoying the last of your day outside.  We take full advantage of our warmer evenings, plus what better way to say goodnight then to run your kiddos out of energy right before bed ;).

A Pizza Picnic



One of the things that I enjoy the most in the spring is having a picnic. I’m a big fan of fresh air, good food, and quality time! Here in Southern Utah, the spring is a wonderful time to take advantage of that subtle warm breeze and sunshine. I thought it would be fun to have a non traditional picnic and have a pizza picnic, plus it’s quick and easy. I don’t think my kiddos can say no to sunshine and pizza. These days in Saint George, there are new places to eat popping up all the time, so naturally I had to check out the new pizza joint called Pizzeria Limone.
